1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of booking a stay within the La Chevalerie estate.
All bookings imply full and complete acceptance of these conditions.
2. Accommodation options
The La Chevalerie estate offers several types of tourist accommodation:
- a cottage
- a gypsy caravan
- a fairground caravan
- a chalet accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM)
These accommodations can be rented individually or, subject to availability, as part of a partial or complete privatization of the property .
3. Reservation
The reservation becomes effective upon receipt of:
- a deposit corresponding to 30% of the total cost of the stay ,
or - of the full payment for any reservation made less than 30 days before the arrival date .
The reservation can be made:
- via the website
- via a booking platform
- directly from the owner.
The client acknowledges having read and understood the characteristics of the reserved accommodation.
4. Payment
The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 30 days before the arrival date..
If payment is not received within this period, the reservation may be considered cancelled and the accommodation made available for rent again.
Payments can be made using the methods offered during the booking process.
Tourist tax , where applicable, is collected in accordance with local regulations.
5. Cancellation by the customer
All cancellations must be notified in writing.
The following conditions apply:
- More than 30 days before arrival :
the deposit remains with the owner - Less than 30 days before arrival :
the full amount of the stay is due - No-show : The total amount of the stay remains due to the owner.
Any stay that has begun is payable in full.
The customer is advised to take out cancellation insurance .
6. Cancellation by the owner
In the event of an exceptional cancellation by the owner, the sums paid will be fully refunded.
No further compensation can be claimed.
7. Arrival and departure
Arrival and departure times are provided at the time of booking.
The client agrees to respect these times in order to allow for the preparation of the accommodations.
In case of late arrival, the client must inform the owner.
8. Accommodation capacity
Each accommodation is designed for a maximum number of people indicated at the time of booking.
The owner reserves the right to refuse entry to additional people.
Any breach may result in the immediate termination of the stay without refund.
9. Security deposit
A security deposit may be required upon arrival.
It will be returned within a maximum of 7 days after departure , less any costs related to damage or additional cleaning.
10. Use of premises
The tenant agrees to:
- respect the tranquility of the place
- use the equipment carefully
- return the accommodations in a suitable condition.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodations .
Unauthorized parties or gatherings are prohibited.
11. Swimming pool
The property has an indoor heated swimming pool .
Access is reserved for guests staying on the property and is subject to the hours defined by the establishment.
The use of the swimming pool is at the users' own risk .
Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult .
The posted safety instructions must be followed.
12. Animals
The presence of animals is subject to the prior agreement of the owner.
Animals are not allowed inside the accommodations unless specifically authorized.
13. Outdoor spaces and equipment
The outdoor spaces and leisure facilities of the estate are available to guests.
Children remain under the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians.
The owner declines all responsibility in the event of an accident related to the use of the recreational facilities.
14. Parking
A parking space is available for customers.
Vehicles remain the responsibility of their owner.
15. Responsibility
The tenant is responsible for any damage he or she may cause during their stay.
He is required to be covered by holiday liability insurance .
The owner accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings in the accommodations or on the property.
16. Personal Data
The information collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of managing stays and in accordance with current regulations regarding the protection of personal data.
17. Disputes
These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority.
In the absence of an amicable agreement, the competent courts will be seized.
